About the IGHub IDEAS Project

The IGHub IDEAS Project is a transformative initiative focused on enhancing digital literacy and technical skills among youth, women, and persons with disabilities in Nigeria. Supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and funded by the World Bank, the project aims to build a robust skills development ecosystem that aligns with labor market needs and promotes inclusive growth.

Role Overview

As the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing M&E frameworks, analyzing program data, and providing insights that drive decision-making. Your role will be crucial in assessing the effectiveness of our programs and identifying areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop M&E Frameworks: Design and implement Monitoring & Evaluation frameworks, tools, and strategic plans to assess program performance.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, analyze, and compile data related to program indicators and performance metrics.
• Conduct Evaluations: Perform regular monitoring visits and evaluations to track progress and measure impact.
• Integration with Program Activities: Collaborate with program teams to ensure M&E is integrated into all project activities.
• Database Management: Create and manage databases and systems for tracking and reporting M&E data.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed M&E reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience: Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation, research, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong understanding of M&E frameworks, methodologies, and data analysis techniques.
• Communication: Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.
• Preferred: Experience with digital skills development programs, familiarity with international development practices, and proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
